About KC
Kc Wayland is an award-winning writer, producer, editor, director, and United States Army veteran whose film and audio work has been enjoyed around the globe. In 2009, Kc began releasing We're Alive, one of the first major American audio dramas of its kind. Recorded and produced on a non-existent budget, We're Alive has amassed hundreds of millions of downloads and a large dedicated fanbase. The podcast eventually expanded into four seasons, spin-off shows Lockdown and Goldrush, an actual-play tabletop show by Geek and Sundry called We're Alive: Frontier, and a sequel series, We're Alive: Descendants. Kc continues to master his craft working on numerous productions from all over the world. He has also written and published “Bombs Always Beep”, a comprehensive manual on creating audio theater, or what he calls “Theater for the Mind”. Alongside his creative efforts, Kc teaches at Chapman University at the Dodge College of Media Arts, focusing on Writing for Audio, Audio Techniques, and Audio Drama Production.
